Week 3: B is for Bear

B week! We mostly read books and did activities about bears, berries, and buttons.

Books we read this weeke were:
Jamberry
Going on a Bear Hunt
Blueberries For Sal

The boys also found a toad in our backyard! We NEVER find anything because of our dog. We were excited and observed it a while before letting it go.

The lifecycle and sketches. We talked about the lifecycle and where they live when tadpoles and in winter. The boys determined that this one was a girl beauce she was silent the whole time ;)

Those bear claws look yummy!

And I love how your boys found the toad. I love it when we find something alive that we can watch for a few minutes. We had an orb weaver spider lay her eggs inside of our screened patio and there are more orb weavers than we can count. We love to go onto the patio to look at their amazing webs and every few days we will catch one to watch for a few minutes.
