Winter Mantel

I love Christmas, and the season was wonderful, but this year, I was ready more than ever to get all the decorations down and just have something simple. I just went around the house, and put up what I had. It's not fussy, just simple and fun for winter, AND I didn't spend a thing...so it works for us!

I brought in a little bit of nature with the pine cones, some texture using the chargers, and added blues and whites using the mason jars and candles. The garland, is something I purchased a few months ago, for a different project I have yet to start, so I added those for a sense of playfulness...since we DO live in a house full of boys!  Oh and the frame I painted this past fall.

Very cute. I love that you used items you already had. Glad I stopped by from Beth's Winter Mantel Party. :)

That is a fun mantel. And your boys are adorable, too. We have that monogram letter, but in "P" for "Poppy" - our last name.

Blessings,
Jen
